Company Updates

We are delighted to announce that we have acquired our first development site of 2021. Despite the turmoil caused by the global Covid-19 pandemic, the three-acre site in the thriving community of Loxwood in the Weald of Sussex, will help meet some of the supply requirements for new homes identified by Chichester District Council.

The development, which has outline planning consent, will comprise of 17 private 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes and 7 affordable homes, all sensitively designed to reflect the character of the local area. The site is located at the southern end of the High Street and was historically a former apple orchard when Loxwood and Kirdford’s main industry was wholesale apple growing. It’s most recently been used as a paddock for grazing.

Lee Atkins, our Senior Land Manager comments: “We are delighted to be building in such a popular location as Loxwood. We hope to work closely with the local community and create a desirable new collection of homes for the village, as set out in the local Neighbourhood Plan, to meet local housing needs and attract more families and young first-time buyers to the area.”

Chris Hamilton, our Managing Director, also comments: “This is a great start to 2021 and we look forward to bringing a positive impact to the village community of Loxwood with a collection of quality, beautifully finished new homes. As a local housebuilder, we are delighted to bring our knowledge and expertise to this stunning location and be back building in our heartland.”

We expect to start site implementation by mid-2021 and an on-site sales and information centre is planned for summer this year.
