    Neighbourhood Planning & Consultation

    The building of new developments can be an uncertain time for local residents and being a family business, we understand the value of community engagement.

    Community Consultation

    We have an excellent reputation for community engagement. By acknowledging and reflecting the views of local people, we can encourage greater integration with existing towns and villages that surround our sites. Consultation with the local community is integral to the way we work, from the promotion of our sites through the planning application process and over the course of construction on site. Wherever new development is proposed, it is only natural for there to be concerns and objections. That is why we place such high importance on the need to always communicate clearly our plans and proposals and why we value the input and contribution of local residents, community groups, local authority officers, elected representatives and all those involved in the planning and delivery process.

    Neighbourhood Planning

    We recognise the importance that the Government places on Neighbourhood Planning and we have already built up a substantial amount of experience working closely with Parish Councils and interested parties to identify sites within emerging Neighbourhood Plans. For example, we recently promoted a Greenfield site for 52 homes on the edge of Wing. Working closely with the Parish Council, we successfully secured the identification of the site for development within their Neighbourhood Plan and subsequently obtained Planning Permission under delegated powers.
